Team Sunshine is happy to back fundraising for Hospice again this year. We are so thankful for everything Hospice has done for our family. Our daughter Stephanie’s stay in January of 2023 was a short 5 days, but the care given not only to her but to the rest of the family was incredible, I don’t know how we would have made it through without everyone involved.

The support did not stop when Stephanie passed away and we went home. The check in calls over the first year from the amazing volunteers helped to know she had not been forgotten,  and gave us a chance to talk about and remember her.

The counselling and support groups are there for not only those who lost a loved one in Hospice but for all that are grieving in the community. The new mother’s support group has meant so much to me personally. To talk to other Moms suffering the same grief, has helped my healing process tremendously. It is a safe place where we can say what we are thinking and feeling with no judgement, just understanding and caring.
