Dear friends and family,

I’m raising funds for the Galiano Conservancy’s Environmental Education Bursary Fund.

The Musical Walkalong for Learning event (which will be held at the Millard Learning Centre, 10825 Porlier Pass Road, Galiano Is., on Saturday, August 27) is an annual fundraiser for the GCA’s Environmental Education Bursary Fund, a unique fund that offers access to nature, environmental education and outdoor recreation for BC’s underprivileged children and youth.

By attending, donating and fundraising for this event YOU directly contribute to kids’ first experiences hiking, camping, gardening and stargazing!

Every $30 donated brings one child to Galiano and closer to nature! This can have a tremendous impact in these children’s lives and health, both physical and emotional, and spur a love and appreciation for nature which can last a lifetime.
